BASIC FEATURES

Lansweeper Pro 2025 builds upon asset discovery and inventory capabilities by enabling organizations to scale across multiple installations (up to 3 installations under the Pro plan) and gather extended insights such as vulnerability insights (leveraging NIST and other vulnerability databases), lifecycle insights that track when hardware, software, or operating systems are reaching end-of-life or will lose support, and OT Discovery for operational technology device detection. It includes all core discovery methods: passive detection (Asset Radar), active scanning (IP range scanning), agent-based scanning (LsAgent) for endpoints behind firewalls or remote locations, and discovery connectors for cloud environments and third-party inventory systems (like SCCM, Intune). Inventory data is normalized (vendor, version, model), assets can be grouped by location, owner, or custom tags, dashboards and reporting builder tools let admins build custom reports and view visual diagrams and network topologies, integrations with other tools via APIs, plus stronger control features like Single Sign-On (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and extended data storage per asset. 

WHAT’S NEW

In 2025, Lansweeper Pro introduces improvements such as enhanced vulnerability & lifecycle insights (more frequent vulnerability signatures and more OS/hardware models covered), better OT asset detection protocols, expanded integrations and Marketplace Apps availability, greater data storage per asset, improvements to dashboards’ UI and performance, and faster scanning/refresh cycles for environments with many assets. 

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Requires Windows installer for server component: a Windows OS (Windows 10 21H2 or higher, Windows 11, or supported Windows Server versions) for server hardware; CPU with multiple cores for better performance; recommended RAM varies depending on number of assets and installations, but multi-GB RAM (e.g. 8-12 GB or more) for larger setups; disk storage: sufficient disk and database storage depending on number of assets (managing the backend SQL database—SQL Server or SQL LocalDB); for scanning servers: enough CPU, RAM and free disk space; supported browsers for UI; network infrastructure must allow scan protocols (SMB, SSH, etc.) depending on which discovery methods are used.
