Must be installed on a Windows machine (server or desktop) as the Lansweeper server component; requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or newer; requires Microsoft SQL Server (versions supported include SQL Server 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 or SQL LocalDB) for its database back‐end; hardware requirements depend on environment size but for deployment expect sufficient CPU (modern multicore), RAM (multiple gigabytes depending on number of assets), disk space for database growth and logs, and network bandwidth; agents to scan endpoints run on Windows, macOS, Linux; for scanning other devices/protocols you may need open access to relevant ports (SMB, SSH, SNMP, etc.).
