Locks 4 properties of files: Read, Write, Rename, and Delete.
Unlike hidden or encrypted files, a locked file remains visible in Windows File Explorer at its original location. However, you CANNOT open, edit, rename, move (or copy), or delete it.

Encrypt Files & Folders

To encrypt files, first create an encrypted partitioned drive, then simply drag and drop your files and folders into it. Once you close the program, these files and folders will be both hidden and encrypted. With this strong protection, others will NOT be able to open, read, modify, delete, move, or copy the encrypted files and folders—or even see them at all.

Hide Files & Folders

With Wise Folder Hider, you can easily hide your files and folders so they disappear from Windows File Explorer. No one will be able to see your hidden files and folders. This effectively protects your private or important data from unauthorized access and deletion.

Hide USB Drives

There are many situations where you need to share a USB drive with others, and some sensitive files could be accessed. With Wise Folder Hider, you can hide and password-protect your personal files and folders on the USB drive with just one click. Even if the USB drive is lost, your important files will not be stolen.

Make Encrypted Files Portable

The new encryption version allows you to manage encrypted files in batches. Additionally, the encrypted drive is removable and portable. You can use it just like a regular USB drive, or even create the encrypted drive directly on a removable device.

Multiple Layers of Password Protection

When you first use Wise Folder Hider, you’ll be prompted to set up a login password. Within the program, you can also set a second-level password for each file, folder, USB drive, and encrypted drive. No one else can uninstall the program without the login password or delete the protected and encrypted drives without the second-level password.

Context Menu Option & Super User-friendly Interface

Wise Folder Hider features an intuitive interface that’s easy to navigate—even first-time users can figure it out in just a minute. Even better, during installation, an option called “Hide File/Folder with Wise Folder Hider” is automatically added to your context menu.
